This term GreenSoc have been running a wildlife photography competition and current Jesuans were asked to submit up to five photographs by 25th November. I was asked to help choose the winners and they were announced on Monday 27th November.
Eleven people sent in entries and the winner was Hamish Symington (graduate) with his picture of a honeybee “Yoo-hoo: a female honeybee emerging from her cell”.
Second was Agnes Fung (undergraduate) with her picture of a grey squirrel “Are you done taking pictures…Can I go now?”.
We also gave a special prize for the best caption to Charlotte McDonald (undergraduate) for her picture of mallard ducklings called “Camera shy”.
